Midsize portable screening power
The DeSite 78 ProScreen Galvanized vibratory screener is built to be fed with skid steers, bucket tractors, midsize excavators, and compact loaders.
The rugged SLG 78VF can produce 25 to 50 yards per hour depending on mesh, material being screened, and the type and size of machine feeding the screener.
Its tilting screen deck, feed deflector system, cantilevered spring suspension, and grab-and-go portability are core DeSite features built for real jobsite production.
Tilting Screen Deck
An operator’s ability to manipulate the slope of the screen deck while screening supports better production and better material flow.
For slower material movement, bring the screen deck to a flatter position. For high-moisture soils that can plug a low-slope deck, bring the screen deck to a steeper position.
- Loosen the 5 deck mount bolts on each side.
- Adjust the screen deck to the desired slope.
- Tighten the 5 deck mount bolts and resume screening.
Feed Deflector System
The feed deflection system funnels material to the top of the screen deck to begin the screening process and support maximum production.
The feed deflector mounts into quick-disconnect lugs, allowing the feeder to tip forward so oversized material can pass over the deck and into the overs pile.
Cantilevered Suspension
The cantilevered suspension system allows the screen deck to pivot from 45 degrees for high-moisture material back to 30 degrees for sand and soils with lower moisture.
This gives the operator strong control over the screening process across different material types and moisture conditions.
Power Box
The 78 ProScreen Galvanized includes a heavy-duty 25 ft, 10 gauge electrical cord connected to a watertight power box.
Inside the power box, a bus bar and starting capacitor store the energy needed to start the vibratory pack. The pack spins the dual eccentric armature to 3600 RPM.
The 78 ProScreen Galvanized can be powered with standard 120 volt land power when the distance from the source is under 75 ft and a heavy-duty 10 gauge cord is used.
Grab and Go Portability
Keeping the screener close to the pile reduces travel time and helps improve daily production.
The 78 ProScreen Galvanized can be moved using pallet forks or with your machine’s bucket using bucket transport lugs.

Low Maintenance
The 78 ProScreen Galvanized has only two grease points where the duplexed coil springs pivot, allowing the screen deck to move from 45 degrees back to 30 degrees.
The 3600 RPM electric vibratory packs are sealed away from dirt and moisture, and the screener can be powered with a compact 3500 watt generator.
Transport
The 78 ProScreen Galvanized is designed to load lengthwise or crossways on a trailer, leaving room for your skid steer or compact excavator.

Bucket Transport Lugs
Bucket transport lugs save time and reduce the need for pallet forks onsite. The lugs slide directly into the fork pockets with a retention hole to lock them in place.

Screen Mesh
The 78 ProScreen Galvanized can be fitted with multiple mesh sizes from 1/8 inch up to 4 inches for sand, topsoil, compost, gravel, rock, and wood waste.
Changing the mesh to an alternate size can take under 10 minutes.
